Commitment to Child Safety
Information for Rotary members, youth program participants and their families, and the community
We are committed to providing a child safe and child friendly environment, where children and young people are safe and feel safe. We have a zero tolerance for child abuse and are committed to protecting children from harm.
Our child safety and wellbeing policies, along with Rotary International’s Youth Protection guides and resources, outline the measures and strategies we have in place to support, promote and maintain the safety and wellbeing of children and young people participating in our youth programs:
- Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy
- Code of Conduct
- Child safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedure
- Complaints Policy
As valuable partners in promoting and maintaining child safety and wellbeing we welcome and encourage feedback from young people who participate in our programs and their families, Rotary members and our broader community. If you have any suggestions, comments or questions in relation to our child safe policies and practices, please contact the District protection officer – childprotection@rotary9790.org.au.
