TRENDS IN FUNERALS

Coswello Let Glenda Coswello explain the trends that are occurring in the funeral industry right now and in the past.

Owner of her own company, she will endeavour to explain the myths surrounding this little known industry. Her experiences will ensure that talking about dying is nothing to be frightened of.

Her talk will encapsulate information of the different types of funerals held and customs from the Dinky Di Aussie funeral to the more diverse Islamic funeral.

Alternative funerals are becoming more and more popular. Funerals in parks, at home, eg. Maori funerals, Asian funerals and the customs of Greek & Macedonian funerals.

Women are becoming more accepted and have taken on a important role in the industry. She will also talk about the interesting stories and unusual requests that she have encountered in her career.

She will also touch on planning for the future. The pitfalls of not doing it right are daunting.
