| “The Romance of Life” | ||
It was during this period when I began modeling for a local agent, which opened the door for me into a vast new world, a world which has allowed me to grow as a person and to express my true personality. Following suit, I soon began studying voice, which initially lead me into voice over work, and then into presenting. Also studying method acting, with a private tutor, I soon began to develop my own style and was able to go out and perform to audiences. From an early age I have been gifted with the ability of eloquently expressing my feelings and thoughts, through the written word. So as I saw fit I would scribe my thoughts to eternity, which allowed me to, from time to time, to analyse my thinking from that moment. Years passed and the lessons written down piled up, until some time after the final separation from my then wife, where I found myself writing more committed than ever. The only way I could comprehend the magnitude of current events within my life at the time was to transcribe them to paper. Once finished I allowed others to view my thoughts, they were wise enough to suggest that these words from the heart need to be shared. So I compiled all of my writings, from the time and previously, selecting only the pertinent passages. Then adding some narrative, my book (What Would You Call A Book Of Love?) was born. My goal for the book is to raise one million dollars for charitable causes, and so it was decided to prepare speeches for local and interstate community groups, who could benefit directly from the sale of this publication. Which would utilise my oration skills acquired through speaking clubs, such as Toastmasters, which has allowed me to make many speeches over the past ten years? The speech I am presenting now looks at the romance of life, and how
we all too often become too consumed in day to day, often trivial pursuits,
events to concern ourselves with the beauty all around us. How seemingly
impossible circumstances have more than one side to them, often being
positive. As humans we look for the negative prior to the positive aspects
of a circumstance, which occur, throughout our lives. Antonio |
