I am a biomechanics lecturer with many years experience in public speaking at major conferences, events and charities around the world.

As a biomechanics lecturer, and the previous Spokeswoman for the WorkCover Authority of NSW, and currently heavily involved in the KidSAFE Posture Program, I would be delighted to give presentations on the following topics to Rotary:

  1. • Laptops & Lawsuits. What employers need to know about seat & posture in the workplace.
  2. • Lifting, seat & posture in the office & workplace.
  3. • 300% increase in backpack injuries among children – a lawsuit waiting to happen?
  4. • Why does my back always hurt?

I have previously spoken at Rotary in Bacchus Marsh, on the Gold Coast and in Canada, and although these topics might sound ‘flat & boring’, we always manage to get the audience to laugh and have a great time, while learning the urgent problems facing employers with regard to lifting, seat and posture in the workplace.
