Rotary Standard Emblem
Flag Display The Rotary flag should be displayed on the right side of the National Flag when viewed by the audience. International Flags must be displayed in the correct manner and not allowed to touch floor or ground. Flags must not be used as a drape or covering. The Rotary International flag should take first position of importance (i.e. highest ranking). Following that, the flag of the country (to which the District belongs) should be in second position of importance (second ranking). Thirdly, if so wished, the flag of the country of the RI President's Representative may be placed in the position of third importance (third ranking). There is no need to display the flag of the RI President's country, but if it is to be displayed it should be displayed in fourth position of importance - but this is not recommended as it can be confusing. If the RI President attends in person then the flag of the President's country is to be displayed in the third position. If any other flags are being displayed they should be arranged in alphabetical order starting in the fourth position after the flag of the country of the RI President's Representative. Rotarian should be addressed as: Rotarian; Name; PP, PDG etc. (RI status), any national (Australian) Awards e.g. OAM, then add on any global Foundation Awards e.g. Distinguished Meritorious Service and then PHF (it is not an award but a recognition). The very last is an award given by a multi district organisation, ARHF for example.
