It is with deep regret that I pass on the very sad news that Ginnette Eycken, wife of Bob Eycken from our Mansfield club and prior to that our Diamond Creek club, passed away on Friday after a long battle with cancer.

Many of you will know Ginnette and Bob from the work they did in promoting ShelterBox around the District and Ginette's hard work in contributing to this very worthwhile programme will be sorely missed. Ginnette supported Bob when he was President of the Rotary Club of Alperton, District 1130, and when he was Chairman of the Rotary Club of Eltham extension committee for the formation of the Rotary Club of Diamond Creek.

District Governor Alan Anderson has asked that his deepest sympathy and that of District be passed on to Bob at this sad time.

The funeral Service will take place at 2pm on Monday 18th October at Wooling Hill Garden Estate, 372 Barringo Road, New Gisborne, Victoria, 3438.

Please, no flowers. If you wish, please make a donation to any of the charity orginisations helping in the fight against cancer. Envelopes will be available at the funeral.
