The Diamond Valley Relay for Life is on again and the date has been set for the 20th and 21st February 2010.

The event will again be held at the Willinda Park Athletics Track in Greensborough (Melway 21 A4) and once again the Rotary Club of Greensborough will be looking to field a team.

Last year was the inaugural event and this year the Cancer Council are already expecting it to be a bigger event with more teams indicating an intention to enrol this time.

This year we are calling on all other Rotary Clubs particularly District 9790 Group One clubs, to become involved in this Diamond Valley Event. Perhaps your club can also field a team or look to provide volunteer assistance during the event?

We found this to be an excellent way of promoting Rotary and the services it provides. Last year we made use of a ShelterBox Tent and this helped to promote that project over the course of the 2 day event.

I therefore ask you to look inside your club to see what your Rotarians might be able to contribute?

If you or any members have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me

Regards,

Martyn Thompson
