This is a non-acquisitive art show.
Monetary awards will be made for the best work,
in the opinion of the judge, in each of the following sections.

Section A: Traditional Oil or Acrylic Painting:
$3000 J & A Judd

Section B: Traditional Watercolour Painting:
$1500 Ross Aldridge

Section C: Traditional Pastel Painting:
$1000 R J Aldridge

Section D: Work in any two-dimensional medium:
not to exceed 1.5m in any direction.
$500 Dorothy Call

Section E: Painting, Drawing or Print
of some aspect of North East Victoria:
$300 The Regional Development Company

Section F: Drawing or Artist's Print:
$300 Bernrad Young and ASssociates

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY


All fully completed entry forms must be completed and in the hands of the Organisers by Friday 10th October 2010.

Late entries will NOT be considered for entry.

Only current original work by artists resident in Australia will be accepted.

All works will be presented for sale to the public at the price stated on the entry form.

The Organisers retain the right to not make an award when, in the opinion of the Judge, there is no work of a suitable standard in the particular section.

All award winning works will be available for sale to the public.

The Organisers will deduct 25% commission from all sales and the proceeds to the artists will be paid within 28 days of the close of the Art Show.

The Rotary Club of Appin Park Wangaratta is a charitable organisation and is not registered for GST. It neither charges nor claims GST

A non-refundable fee of $10.00 per work must accompany the entry form and a maximum of five entries only will be accepted from any one entrant.

Each work must be suitably framed, ready to hang and with name and address, sections entered and title clearly lettered and fixed to the back of the entry.

Any transport and insurance costs must be met by the artist. All possible care will be taken but no liability will be accepted by the Organisers for any loss or damage to works of art.

If there is insufficient space to hang all entries the Organisers reserve the right not to display some entries. However, all entries will be included in the judging.

Paintings, prints and drawings must not exceed 1.5 m in any direction.
Single works can be entered in more than one category

The Organisers reserve the right to photograph any entry for publicity purposes.

Visa and Mastercard facilities are available.

Return of unsold Works:

Unsold works may be collected from the ART SHOW immediately after the show closes at 4pm to 8pm on Monday November 1st or on Tuesday November 2nd between 9am and noon.
