EVERY
YEAR A ROTARY FOUNDATION NEWSLETTER
NEW AREAS OF FOCUS FUNDS

You can now direct your Annual Fund contributions to any of the Foundation’s six areas of focus funds.

While these additional giving options are not included in a district's SHARE calculation, and therefore do not generate any District Designated Funds (DDF), they are an excellent way to attract new donors to support our Foundation's strategic priorities. Spread the word to non-Rotarians, first-time contributors, alumni, members of Rotarian Action Groups, Interactors, Rotaractors, corporations, and foundations.

TOP FIVE REASONS TO SUPPORT THE FOUNDATION

There are as many reasons to support the Foundation as there are ways to do good in the world. Learn how your contributions are making change possible.

ROTARY AND MERCY SHIPS PARTNER TO DELIVER VITAL MEDICAL CARE TO WEST AFRICA

The Foundation will provide packaged global grants to Rotary clubs and districts to assemble vocational training teams of medical professionals, who will work with Mercy Ships' medical staff members to perform life-changing surgeries. Watch the video to learn more.

THREE THINGS EVERY ROTARIAN SHOULD KNOW

Help members understand the importance of their continued support by sharing Foundation facts at your next club meeting.

WHAT IS YOUR CLUB DOING TO LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION?

"If the answer is 'not enough,'" says Trustee Chair Bill Boyd in his November message, "now might be a very good time to start."

THE FOUNDATION BELONGS TO US ALL

Share a Foundation Thought with your club.

"The Foundation belongs to us all. It is our greatest resource for doing good, and it is our responsibility to maintain its strength. I hope every Rotarian will join us by making a contribution to support the Foundation's programs this year." — 2004-05 RI President Glenn E. Estess Sr.
