The President of the Rotary Club of Canberra Sunrise, Stephen Bramah, invites participation at the 12th Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) for 2008.
It will be held at Old Parliament House over the weekend 15 - 17 August, with students residing, without exception, at the YMCA's Bush Capital Lodge, 191 Dryandra Street, O'Connor. ACT 2602.
The cost of the weekend for a team of 2 students is $700 and for a team of 3 students, it is an additional $250.
This year the Australian National University is again generously supporting the venture.
MUNA is a great project which develops clubs involvement with local schools, builds international understanding and gives students the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the workings of the United Nations and the countries that are represented there.
Please take the opportunity to read all about this great event and share this information with the person in your club with responsibility for MUNA.
