GSE Exchange to District 6980

The GSE Experience

This Rotary year, District 9790 is looking forward to its Exchange programme with District 6980 which covers central Florida, USA.

Some information about Rotarian Bruce Nicholls (Team Leader) Malcolm Kerr (Reserve Team Leader), Team Members David Brown, Sheree Sheridan, Alison Theil, Christofer Motton and Owen Lord together with their photographs are shown below.

This is an exciting and vocationally and culturally rewarding programme, and District Governor David Anderson wishes all participants every success with the Exchange.
DISTRICT 9790 TEAM  

Bruce Nicholls
(Team Leader)

Bruce Nicholls, a Rotarian of 25 years standing, is the Team Leader for the GSE team. Bruce is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Southern Mitchell.

 

 
Team Members:  

David Brown

Through his role as Station Officer with the CFA, David Brown is looking forward to seeing how fire and emergency services operate in District 6980. David is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Belvoir Wodonga.

Sheree Sheridan

Sheree Sheridan is the facility manager at the Lutheran Aged Care facility. She keen to explore aged care service delivery while in District 6980. Sheree is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Albury West.

Alison Theil

The Rotary Club of Appin Park is pleased to sponsor Alison Theil to enable her to work with Occupational Therapists in District 6980. Alison is particularly eager to learn hand therapy techniques and practice.

Christofer Motton

Christopher Motton, an IT engineer and Business Manager with Advance Computing, looks forwarded to learning from his US counterparts in those sectors. Chris is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kyabram.

Owen Lord

Forest management is the focus of attention for Owen Lord, who is employed by DSE. Owen is the Reserve Team Member and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Tallangatta.

Malcolm Kerr
(Reserve Team Leader)

Malcolm Kerr is the Reserve Team Leader for the GSE team. Malcolm has been involved in Rotary for 10 years and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cobram.

KEY DATES

• District 6980 arrive on the 29th February 2012 and departs on the 27th March 2012.
• District 9790 departs on the 30th March 2012 and returns on the 2nd May 2012.
