The role of the District 9790 New Generations Committee is to assist in the planning, organization and co-ordination of District Rotary Clubs in implementing New Generation programs. It will aim to be a resource which clubs will want to call upon.
Clubs encourage secondary schools to form debating teams
to compete with different schools in our District. Debates are normally
conducted at the Club's meeting place. The final debate is held at the District Conference
each year. The Ian Murphy Memorial debate was named after PP Ian Murphy
of the Rotary Club of Corryong.

Each student is exposed to the widest possible range of study and career opportunities in science, technology and engineering so that they can make an informed choice for further studies.
