At the Rotary International Convention, it has often been the practice to include this event. There is a real 'Buzz' in participating and I value my event T shirts as mementos of past events.

In 2005, I walked with thousands of Rotarians from around the world in Chicago and it is one of my best memories from this convention. In 2012 we offer the event as 'The Rotary Trot' using the old trotting track at MV racecourse. You will find the event as an optional activity on the registration form and the cost includes a polo shirt as a souvenir.

The event will take place on Sunday morning and will provide a great fresh start to the final day of Conference 2012. Starting at 8.00am, the walk will allow for all levels of fitness and most participants will be able to enjoy a cup of coffee in the social areas before the start of the first plenary session Enthusiasts will be able to trot the track twice.

All proceeds will go to Polio Plus. I hope you will consider this activity and include a picture of our District Governor sporting the polo shirt which will also be available in black. When you complete your registration early, it will give us a chance to order well ahead and get the best price for the garment.
