We urgently need funding to send more Aquaboxes to the disastrous flood areas of Pakistan and to ensure we have enough boxes on standby for the inevitable disasters which will occur in our region in the coming months. At the moment 300+ Aquaboxes are being sent from the UK to Pakistan and we have 108 with AusAID which have also been committed to the Pakistan flood.

All supplies of Aquaboxes have now been exhausted and we urgently need funding assistance to prepare and send more.

Aquabox has received an urgent appeal from the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) in Pakistan for more Aquaboxes. They are currently setting up tent villages in many areas for the refugees from the floods and are faced with an enormous task of combating disease and sickness caused by contaminated drinking water - said to be the greatest risk they currently face. The NCHD has undertaken to receive and manage the distribution of Aquaboxes to the tent villages on our behalf. It is quite clear that the number of Aquaboxes being sent to the disaster areas is not enough
