What a day! What a day!

The spring weather was superb – sun shining, blue sky. There were a record number of entries in the Grand Parade and the largest number of stall holders that we have ever had.

The two Show Bag Trailers set a new sales record and the attendance also had to be a record, more than 35,000 was the estimate.

Reports from the Scouts were all positive and they had a great opportunity to get their message of the fun of scouting to lots of local young people.

The Rotaract Club of Diamond Valley sold more than two thousand donuts, mentored by Rotarian Past President Joe Di Natale.

The Town Fair is the major fundraising event for the club.

Many thanks to all of you - Rotarians, partners, friends of Rotary who all volunteered your time to make this day such a huge success.

We look forward to an even bigger and better Diamond Creek Rotary Town Fair in 2009.
