Garden Party
Saturday 22nd November
1pm--4pm
Government House lawns.

Dear Rotarian Friends

My congratulations on the work you and your team have done with the D.I.K. program. Speaking about the one country where I know the impact of the program I can say that it has contributed greatly the the wellbeing and medical health of many, many people.

In recognition of this work, the Governor of Victoria has offered Rotary and the Australia Sri Lanka Council , a Garden Party on the lawns of Government House on Saturday November 22--1pm--4pm to celebrate the relationship between the two countries. Entry is free and fine Sri Lanka food and drinks will be available. However for security all coming must be pre registered and have an invitation.

This will be a wonderfull chance for Rotarians to learn more about Sri Lanka where Rotary is strong, and many clubs wish to work with Australian clubs to develop a better life for the people.

The hosts are PDG Janet McCahon (D9820) standing in for the present District Governor who will be in New Zealand, and Ean McDowell the chairman of the Australia Sri Lanka Council.

Please invite all your Rotarian friends from as many clubs as possible, their families and friends. Let me know the number of tickets you require ,or have them e-mail me for tickets.

It will be a wonderfull afternoon.

With best wishes
